To fast track farming Faded Crisis Fragments in Path of Exile 2's Citadels and efficiently prepare to face the Arbiter of Ash.
1. Understand the Source of Faded Crisis Fragments
Faded Crisis Fragments drop exclusively from the faction leader boss inside the Copper Citadel.
You need to clear two lieutenants in adjacent zones before facing this faction leader.
Citadels require Tier 15 Waystones to enter, and they spawn randomly on the Atlas map.

Citadels appear more frequently in unexplored or new areas of your Atlas.
Use visual clues, such as clusters of buildings at map edges, to spot Citadels faster.
Mark and revisit known Citadel locations to farm repeatedly.
Efficient map progression and tile exploration increase Citadel discovery rate.
4. Gear and Playstyle
Use fast, strong builds that can handle the increased difficulty from multiple Waystone suffixes (which often negatively affect monster stats but increase fragment drops).
If difficulty is overwhelming, consider farming lower-tier maps until you're ready for harder Citadels with six suffix Waystones.
5. Use Loot Filters and Inventory Management
Customize loot filters to highlight Crisis Fragments and important currency to quickly identify valuable drops during fast clears.
6. Supplement Your Farming
Reallocate Atlas passive points to focus on Waystone-related nodes before farming Citadels. After farming sessions, respec back to your preferred farming tree.
Combine Citadel farming with currency or map farming for efficient playtime.
By focusing on high Waystone Drop Chance through crafting and passive investment, locating Citadels quickly, and using strong builds to clear them efficiently, you can reliably farm multiple Faded Crisis Fragments per run.
