To farm Weathered Crisis Fragments efficiently in Path of Exile 2, players typically focus on running Tier 15 Stone Citadel maps, where these fragments drop from the boss Doryani. Maximizing your Waystone Drop Chance is crucial—this is primarily achieved by crafting Waystones with suffix modifiers, ideally creating a 6-suffix corrupted Waystone, since only suffixes increase the drop chance of Crisis Fragments.
Using a Vaal Orb on Waystones can corrupt all modifiers to suffixes, significantly boosting fragment drop rates. Around 300% Waystone Drop Chance generally yields 2 fragments per boss kill, while pushing this above 900% can yield 3 or even 4 fragments, though this increases map difficulty. To optimize this further, respec your Atlas passive tree to focus on Waystone Modifier Effect and Drop Chance, and utilize Precursor Tablets to increase the number of Waystones in maps, indirectly improving the number of fragments dropped.
Employing fast clear builds and efficient Atlas pathing to quickly find Stone Citadels also increases your farming rate. Be prepared for the challenge, as heavily modified maps become quite difficult. If solo farming becomes daunting, group farming is an option.
Trading can supplement farming if you need smaller quantities, but the best returns come from maximizing Waystone drop chance through crafted and corrupted Waystones coupled with optimal Atlas setup and map investment.
For efficient Weathered Crisis Fragment farming:
Run Tier 15 Stone Citadel maps hosting the boss Doryani.
Use heavily suffix-modified, corrupted Waystones with high drop chance.
Aim for 300-900%+ Waystone Drop Chance for multiple fragments per kill.
Optimize Atlas passives and use Precursor Tablets to boost Waystone quantity.
Use fast clearing builds and efficient map routing.
Prepare for increased difficulty with high modifier Waystones.
This method maximizes fragment yield, accelerating progression toward unlocking pinnacle endgame content in Path of Exile 2.
