Here are the step-by-step instructions to acquire a Test of Will Barya coin and access the corresponding trial in Path of Exile 2:
Step 1: Progress Through Act 2 Advance the main quest line in Act 2 until you reach the area called Traitor's Passage during the "Trail of Corruption" quest.
Step 2: Locate and Defeat Balbala the Traitor In Traitor's Passage, find the Ancient Seal and interact with three Runic Seals. Doing so triggers a boss fight with Balbala the Traitor. Defeat Balbala to receive Balbala's Barya coin.
Step 3: Activate the Trial Return to the Ardura Caravan and speak with Balbala, the Advisor. Use the Desert Map to travel to the Trial of the Sekhemas.
Step 4: Acquire Higher-Tier Coins (Including Test of Will Barya) After completing initial trials, higher-level coins such as Test of Will Barya become available for enhanced challenge and rewards. These coins can be obtained by:
Random drops from monsters in higher-level zones (level 60+ recommended for better drop rates)
Completing high-tier expeditions, arena challenges, or Waystone maps
Trading with other players
Step 5: Start the Trial with Test of Will Barya Once you obtain the coin, place it in the Relic Altar at the beginning of your Trial of the Sekhemas run. The Test of Will Barya modifier will be active for this trial, increasing difficulty but boosting potential rewards.
Tips:
Farming high-density areas, strongboxes, or special map types improves your chances of finding coins.
If you fail the trial, you can often speak to Balbala to receive another entry coin for retry attempts.
Trading for the coin may be faster than farming it if immediate access to Ascendancy trials is your goal.
